Ontario, the most popular province in Canada, invited 486 candidates from the Express Entry Pool in the latest draw held on 13th February.
All 486 invitations were issued under the Human Capital Priorities Stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program. Invited candidates had a CRS score ranging between 467 and 471.
The 13th February Ontario draw targeted candidates nominating 10 different occupations. These occupations were:
- NOC 0111- Financial Managers
- NOC 0114- Other Administrative Services Managers
- NOC 0124- Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations Managers
- NOC 0601- Corporate Sales Managers
- NOC 0621- Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers
- NOC 0651- Managers in customer and personal services, nec
- NOC 1111- Financial Auditors and Accountants
- NOC 1114- Other Financial Officers
- NOC 1122- Professional occupations in business management consulting
- NOC 3012- Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses
Candidates who have received an invitation from the OINP have 45 days time to submit an application for a provincial nomination. Applicants who fail to apply within these 45 days will have their invitation withdrawn.
The OINP chose the 10 priority occupations through one-on-one consultations with stakeholders and a survey.
Invited candidates who obtain a provincial nomination would be able to increase their CRS score by 600 points. The increased score will guarantee them an Invitation to Apply in the subsequent draw of the Federal Express Entry Program.
