Nova Scotia invited 12 candidates through Entrepreneur draw
Nova Scotia issued 12 invitations through the two streams of Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program. Invitations under the Entrepreneur stream were 6 and the minimum score was 128. For Invitations under the International Graduate Entrepreneur stream, 6 candidates having a minimum score of 47 received invitations. The draw was held on November 1, 2022.

Nova Scotia Entrepreneur Stream
Candidates who have experience in business ownership or senior management are invited through the Entrepreneur Stream. A temporary work permit is issued to candidates and they can apply for a Canada PR visa after operating the business for one year. Expression of Interest format is used to invite applicants in the pool.
Requirements for the Nova Scotia Entrepreneur Stream
Requirements to apply under the Entrepreneur Stream of Nova Scotia are as follows:
- Applicants’ age must be 21 years and above
- Intention to reside in Nova Scotia permanently while owning or managing a business
- Minimum net worth to apply under the stream is $600,000
- Minimum experience of three years in managing and owning a business
- Score of CLB 5 in four skills of English or French language
Nova Scotia International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream
Candidates who have completed their graduation from Nova Scotia University or Community College are eligible to apply under this stream. Candidates need to start or purchase a business and operate it for a year under the Post-Graduation work permit.
Requirements for Nova Scotia International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream
Requirements for the Nova Scotia International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream are as follows:
- Willingness to live in the province while owning or managing a business
- Minimum one year experience in owning or managing a business with 100 percent ownership
- Completion of a degree or a diploma course with a minimum of two academic years from a Nova Scotia University of Community College
- A valid post-graduation work permit
- A minimum of CLB 7 score in all four skills of English or French language which include reading, writing, listening, and speaking
