An announcement by Saudi Arabia on Police Clearance Certificate

Since August 22, 2022, a new rule has been taken forward by the Saudi Arabia immigration consulate. The consulate instructed that no mandatory Police Clearance Certificate is needed for Indians to travel to Saudi.

Indian nationals are exempted from providing PCC (Police Clearance Certificate). This decision is taken in concern of enhancing strong relations and key partnerships between Saudi Arabia and India.

A tweet posted by the Saudi Arabian Embassy, in Delhi announced that there is no compulsion in submitting the Police Clearance Certificate to travel or work in Saudi Arabia. This means Indian nationals are exempted from furnishing a Police Clearance Certificate for an employment visa of Saudi.
