The British High Commission in New Delhi will be closed on 2nd, 3rd, and 6th of October, 2014 due to public holidays. UKVI Visa Section and also the VFS UK Visa Application will be closed in North India. Therefore, people requiring a UK Visit Visa are requested to apply for it as early as possible and consider these dates to make the travel plans to the UK.
More to that, the US Consultates in India will be also closed on 2nd, 3rd, and 6th of October. The US Visit Visa applicants are requested to book their visa appointment well in advance, taking these dates into account.
