British Columbia meets Canada’s need for tech-skilled personnel through the BC PNP PR visa draw. The latest one that happened on Jan 21, 2020, made it clear that the prospects of techies in Canada are still rich!
The motive of the BC PNP draw is to speed up the Canadian PR visa process. This is a golden chance for those who wish to settle in British Columbia. This is also an opportunity for techies to work in Canada.
The British Columbia government runs the BC PNP. It's operated in partnership with the Federal Immigration Department and Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
The BC PNP Tech Pilot Draw issued 58 invitations. The invitations went to those with skill and experience in 29 occupations. The occupations listed in the BC PNP Tech Pilot were:

In the draw, there were provincial and Express Entry categories involved. Skilled workers and international graduates got invited to the program. The categories were:
