Steps to apply
The steps to apply for a Canada PR visa are as follows:
- Get the educational Credential Assessment to prove that foreign education is equivalent to the Canadian level.
- Get the IELTS score which should be at least CLB 7.
- After having ECA and language proficiency report, create an online Express Entry profile.
- Get the required CRS score to become eligible to apply for a Canada PR visa.
- Wait for the Express Entry draw that is held at regular intervals
- Wait for invitations to apply
- Submit the Canada PR application along with the requirements

The fee for the Canada PR depends on the primary applicants and the number of dependents accompanying them.
PR Applicant fee
The fee for a PR applicant is as follows:

Education Credential Assessment fees

The cost of an Educational Credential Assessment through the WES is CAD 200. An additional cost of delivery will also be included, which depends on the way through which ECA has to be sent. Delivery through the courier is the most expensive way of receiving the ECA. The approx. courier charges are CAD 10, and fast express courier charges are CAD 85. If candidates are pharmacists or specialist physicians, their cost of ECA report will be higher. The report will be valid for five years.

The cost of ECA through IQAS is CAD 220. The validity of this report will be five years.
Medical Examination fees
The medical examination fee for Canada PR is CAD 47.33 to CAD 85.19. The validity of the certificate is one year. After that, candidates may have to get this report again. For having a medical exam, candidates need to go to an approved panel physician.
Police Clearance Certificate fees
The police clearance certificate fee is 16.52
Application Processing fee
The application processing fee for the principal applicant is $1,625 while for the spouse or common-law partner, it is CAD 850. The fee for dependent children under the age of 22 is $230 per child.
Right of permanent residence fee
The right to permanent residence fee is $200 which has to be paid at the time of application for permanent residence in Canada. The fee is applicable to all applicants but not on dependent children or protected persons. If the application for the Canada PR is rejected, the right of permanent residence fee will be refunded.
